Seminar on Social Media Addiction and Film Appreciation
On September 25, 2022, Don Bosco Sagai Institute organized an insightful seminar on Social Media Addiction and Film Appreciation for its students. The session was led by Fr. Sagayaraj SDB, an expert in Media Communication, who provided valuable insights into the impact of social media—both its risks and its potential as a tool for personal growth and development. The seminar highlighted how excessive social media use can lead to addiction while also demonstrating how it can be a powerful resource for education, self-improvement, and meaningful engagement. The interactive sessions, coupled with the screening of selected videos, enlightened students on the responsible and productive use of digital media.
The event, coordinated by Fr. Pushparaj (Principal), successfully encouraged students to reflect on their media consumption habits and adopt a more mindful approach to technology. By addressing such critical topics, Don Bosco Sagai Institute continues its commitment to shaping well-informed, responsible, and media-savvy individuals for a better future.
