Blessing & Inauguration of the Extension Block
On January 24, 2024, Don Bosco Sagai Institute marked a significant milestone with the blessing and inauguration of the Extension Block at Sagai Stampa. This expansion was undertaken to enhance hands-on training and on-the-job learning for students in the Printing Laboratory. Recognizing the challenges posed by limited workspace and storage constraints, the management extended the work and storage area, providing additional space for composition, gathering, and future printing machinery. This development ensures a more efficient and well-equipped training environment for students.
The blessing and inauguration were presided over by Fr. L. Don Bosco, INM Provincial. The event commenced with the ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a prayer service. Adding to the joy of the occasion, former Director Fr. Lawrence graced the event with his presence. A special note of gratitude was extended to Mr. Christuraj, the contractor, for his dedication in bringing this project to completion. The event concluded with Fr. James Bernard expressing heartfelt thanks to the Provincial, contractor, staff, and students for their invaluable contributions to this achievement.
This extension is a testament to Sagai Stampa’s mission of providing students with the best possible training infrastructure, preparing them for a successful future in the printing industry.
