St. John Bosco (known as Don Bosco) was born on16th August 1815 in a little village in Northern Italy called Becchi in a poor but a religious farmer’s family. From his very young age, he had deep love for the welfare of the youngsters and this made him to spend his time with them, educating them and guiding them all his life.

Management

The Salesians of Don Bosco, in the footsteps of their founder, spend their lives for the education and welfare of the poor youth in more than 131 countries all over the world in India, there are more than 3000 Salesians in various settings numbering about 500 institutions work for the youth.

2007 - Establishment of Short-term courses in Printing.

2008 - Short term computer courses for children. The hotels were built for the students to stay and learn the trade.

2009 - short term courses in Tailoring, Electrician, Desktop Publishing

2013 - Registered under Vocational Training Provider (VTP) for Diploma in Printing Technology.

2019 - Establishment of Sagai Stampa with the focus to produce Notebooks for all Don Bosco Schools in Salesian Province of Chennai.

2021 - Centre registered under Bharat Sevak Samaj (BSS) for Printing and Computer related Training Programmes.

2023 - The industrial collaboration with Schaeffler towards training and placements.
